ON HOW YOU CHOOSE TO GIVE BIRTH IS YOURS!
I believe that the most important thing a doula can do is to protect the choices of the mother and help ensure that that those choices are honored. It is my job to help you have the experience that you want without judgement or criticism. In the end, I want my clients to feel they were supported by being heard, respected, and part of the decision making process. Instead of promoting my own agenda, it is my goal to promote yours. Different things work for different people. Let me support you in the way you choose to give birth.
Being fully supportive does not mean that I will not educate you on the options available to you. I help new parents understand all their options and what they entail. Therefore, they can make informed choices and feel prepared for their birth.
